God’s Gift of Salvation

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16 (NIV)

“But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.” I Corinthians 2:14 (NLT)

God eagerly desires a loving relationship with you. That’s why he arranged for our wrongs to be placed on the head of an innocent substitute, His own Son. That’s why he instructed Moses to speak words of kindness to the believers and bless them like this: The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; Numbers 6:25 Amlified Bible (AMP)

“JESUS LOVES YOU!” and there is no other way to have a relationship with God: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”  John 14:6 (KJV)

prayinghandsHeavenly Father, I recognize I am a sinner. I come to you asking forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Your son and He died on the cross for my sins. I confess Jesus as Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. I accept Jesus as my personal savior and I praise You for making a way for me. I declare by the blood of Jesus that I am saved. I invite You into my life Lord and I pray you continue to reveal Your love to me by Your Holy Spirit. I ask you to have Your way with my life. I thank You for the new creation You have made me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

a-shepherds-embraceJesus, I’ve looked to you for forgiveness today, please strengthen my heart, so that I may never look back. Your forgiveness is given because of Your great love. Please fill me with reciprocating love that wants to draw near to You and to Your ways. Give me a heart that is not at ease in sinful habits and paths, a heart that returns to You and remains with You. Amen.

“In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10 (NIV)

Welcome to the family of God!
